James Elliman Primary School - "Where Children come first"

Our Accreditations

In March 2008 James Elliman School achieved the Investors in People Standard.

To achieve the standard the School met indicators and provided the required evidence for the following principles:

  • An Investor in People develops effective strategies to improve the performance of the organisation through its people. An Investor in People takes effective action to improve the performance of the organisation through its people.
  • An Investor in People can demonstrate the impact of its investment in people on the performance of the organisation.

In February 2008 James Elliman School achieved the Financial Management Standard in Schools.

To comply with the standard the School's financial management was assessed and met the criteria within the 18 areas of the standard.

By meeting the standard the School is now able to achieve longer term improvement in financial management through targeted action planning.

On 11th June 2007 James Elliman School achieved the Gold Healthy Schools Award.

The National Healthy Schools Programme is a long term initiative that helps children and their School to be healthy. Our Healthy School Programme involves the whole School community, including the children and their parents and the Governors and staff.

 

James Elliman School has Partnership Training with Brunel University, Reading University and East Berkshire College. These partnerships offer training opportunities for School staff members.
